Danielle & Sam's Wedding

Photographer Sam Kroepsch had the opportunity to feature on the other side of the camera alongside his partner of 10 years, Danielle Quinn when they married at Angaston last Spring.

Having met at an 18th birthday, the couple waited until their 10th anniversary week to marry, with a ceremony and reception held at Thorn-Clarke Wines with 65 of their family and friends in attendance.

Danielle is the daughter of Sherrilyn and Peter of Williamstown and Sam is the son of Sharon and Mark Kroepsch of Nuriootpa.

The couple was married by Bonnie Humphries and the bride wore a stunning vintage white gown from Bridal on Payneham, with her attendants Sara and Natasha in striking satin dresses in a bronze hue, while the groom and his attendants, Josh, Brannon and Digby, wore clothing by Peter Shearer.

The wedding day inspiration was a casual/cocktail relaxed vibe for guests, with Kenzi St George chosen as the photographer.

The couple nominates a wedding day favourite moment as their dusk country photoshoot.

“We had some music, wine and just us two and Kenzi, our photographer,” they said.

“It was nice to reflect on the day – just us and get some nice photos. The moment the celebrant said, ‘I now present you husband and wife’ was both very special and rewarding, taking all the pressure off after the months of planning stress.”

Some of the pre-wedding stress was connected to the weather prediction of a severe storm but fortunately the couple advised the day was “perfect.”

The special day included a lovely touch, with Sam’s friend, Josh driving the bride and her attendants in his very cool VC Valiant, while other friends Brannon and Wade put in tireless hours prior to get Sam’s car ready for the wedding – only finishing the night before!

Flowers by Eucalove helped set the scene and the carrot wedding cake and cup cakes for guests, complete with white icing were created by Copper Road Kitchen.

Following the nuptials, Sam and Danielle headed overseas to Ubud in Bali for a few nights, followed by a beachside stay at Legian to relax with food and cocktails.
